Survey for Medical Doctor¢¥s Consciousness on Clinical Trials




Abstract
This survey is an investigation about problems around clinical trials from the consciousness of medical doctors to get the education effect in public. We analysed 78 respondents from 100 doctors we had visited. Regarding on the eduaction for clinical trials, 44.9% of answers say "know" and most of them were educated in school. Regarding on KGCP, 62.8% of them say "don¢¥t know" about the operation of KGCP, 71.8% about the IRB management, 71.8% about the function of IRB, 64.1% about the appointment of managing pharmacist, 65.4% about the audit of public institution and 64.1% about preservation document. On the other hand, 89.7% say "know" about the subject consent. The most difficult part on clinical trials is the informed consent. Patient¢¥s unwillingness to get clinical trials is the main reason. In conclusion, most doctors didn¢¥t take sufficient opportunities to get an education on clinical trials, which resulted in short of knowledge on related laws. They answered difficuty of clinical trials derived from informed consent, protocols and administrative process.
